Black Label Society - Skullage (CD/DVD Collector’s Edition) (Eagle Vision)

Skullage is a compilation of Black Label Society career. This special edition combines the audio with video. It’s a very nice package designed for completists, or new fans inquiring about the band. The four live acoustic tracks are the rarity which makes the package attractive.

The DVD portion of this set is really the one you want. The live performances are great, but this should be no surprise. The video clips are nicely put together. It’s great to have them in one place, and some see for the first time, as very few TV stations play them nowadays. There is also an interview segment with Zakk Wylde, adding special touch to the whole package. Interviews on film are always special, especially when you are able to see the emotion and feel of the speaker.

Overall it’s a great package. I’m not sure if that’s what the die hard BLS fans expected from the band at this point. Never the less it is a great treat, and the DVD component makes it extra special. Now, let’s wait for the new studio album with premiere material.
