Duff McKagan's Loaded - Sick-Special Edition: CD & DVD (Armoury Records)

With "The Taking" still fresh, and making rounds, Duff McKagan's Loaded re-releases "Sick." And it's truly a sick release. It has just about anything you can ask for in one package. Not only do you get the album with two bonus tracks, but it comes with a full length DVD. The DVD includes a full show from Glasgow 2008, promo video, and 4 tour webisodes. The show is absolutely fantastic, but the webisodes are very informative and generally funny. You see a band on the road just having fun, and enjoying what they do. And that's exactly what a band should be doing on the road. All of this is simply outstanding, but it's the strength of the record that gives this release an edge. If the album wasn't any good, no matter how you would spice it up, it would do very little. But spicing up a great record, is another story. Such is the case here.
