Finally Elvis' first record gets the deluxe treatment, as it should. This set includes the debut album, and "Elvis," both nicely re-mastered, with plenty of bonus tracks. All of the bonus tracks come from singles, and we all know back then singles drove everything. The culture of an album came a little bit later.

This is the very beginning of rock'n'roll. The recording witness a performer finding his own ground as he invents his own style and legend. The rest of course is history, and who could really forget Elvis? The reissue is equipped with a very nice booklet, explaining all the little details, and some interesting trivia for the enthusiasts.

This is a classic release, a big slice of musical history combined in one impressive package. These songs refuse to get old, and refuse to go away. And they work in just about every setting possible. In so many words, it's a must have music, in any format you wish.
