New Jimi Hendrix recordings always generate a lot of interest and excitement. This release was advertised as the new music by Hendrix. And if you look for absolutely new material by Hendrix, you won’t find it here. What you do find here are different versions of the tracks you already know. And those tracks are simply great, and justify the purchase of the record.

Jimi Hendrix was a phenomenon unlike any other. Many tried to imitate his style, but none succeeded the way the originator did. As the years pass by Hendrix’s music and myth remains untouched, and will do so for many decades to come. Hendrix created an instantly recognizable style, and incorporated several music influences into his playing.

Valley of Neptune is a great testament of what it means to be great. These tracks sound absolutely fantastic. You feel an instant groove and variety of emotions while spinning this disc. The music just flows, and before you know it the record is over and you simply have to press play again.
