Klaus Schulze, a German electronics pioneer, released La Vie Electronique 1 and 2. Each release is a 3 CD set, and was originally part of 50 CD limited box set. It is finally seeing the light again, in 3 CD installments. Both volumes come as a digipacks. Each set accompanied by a very nice booklet explaining the nature of the recordings featured. The material was originally taken from Schulze’s archives, and not featured on any of the official releases. The music itself is rich in textures and mood. Many of the sounds are haunting, yet they transcend with their beauty. It is another statement why Schulze is such creative genius when it comes to electronic music, or just music in that sense.
