Peter Tosh - Equal Rights (Legacy)

Another great deluxe version of a long forgotten classic. Peter Tosh was perhaps only other reggae performer who could get close to the shining star of Bob Marley. Following his own path, Tosh stayed true to his vision, and released solid records throughout his career. Unfortunately departed just like Marley, it's the music that stayed behind and made sure his legacy stayed intact. The album is nicely re-mastered. The sound is rich and deep, but it's the vast amount of the bonus material that makes this release so good. The album comes with several unreleased original session outtakes. The second disc is filled with demos, outtakes, remixes, and so on. All of it sounds great. It might seem like it's a lot of reggae to take in at once, but sometimes it's just what you need!
