SBB - Roskilde 1978 (Metal Mind Productions)

SBB was always an unpredictable band on stage, and they still are. This set shows the band at its absolute peak. For a band from behind the Iron Curtain to make it to Roskilde back in 1978 was definitely an achievement. SBB played a blistering set of blues inspired progressive rock, with plenty elements of fusion. As always the band was not afraid to take chances, and experiment with the songs. What's so great about SBB live is how well the members interact with each other, and how much room for improvisation they allow each other. This band clearly lives and breathes music, and the passion is definitely visible here. There are many live releases from SBB, and every single one of them is so different. SBB never plays the same song the same way. Each SBB live release is a trip into the unknown.
