This collection is a true vintage Twisted Sister. Way before the hits, way before the glory. The oldest recording dating back to 1978 really gives the idea where the band came from, and how it mutated into the monster you know. Twisted Sister was a very hard working band, and persistent at that. It's no wonder they got to be very recognized and successful in later years. The songs on this set show the band perfecting their craft, yet the trademarks are already visibly there. This CD is a fantastic trip into the past, and a way to dissect a band, and see what made it initially work. There is a lot of excitement in this music, it roars in spirit. Certainly a must for any Twisted Sister die-hard fan.
