Wolf Spider – Kingdom of Paranoia/Drifting in The Sullen Sea (Metal Mind/MVD)

Wolf Spider is a Polish speed metal band dating from the 80s. These two reissues are respective third and fourth albums from the albums. The above-mentioned albums are the last two the band released before splitting up. Both are sung in English, but the bonus tracks include few tracks in Polish. Wolf Spider can be described as a straightforward speed metal band. The music is catchy, and there are plenty of memorable hooks that keep the listener interested. Some chords structures are reminiscent to what Voivod used to do. Both albums are released as digipacks. The booklets include the lyrics, photos, and history of the band. Both albums were originally released on Music For Nations, and were unavailable until now. Wolf Spider is a great band to explore for the speed metal enthusiasts, and collectors of obscure groups.
